Shuggie isn’t a breeding female—she’s our full-time Puppy Nanny. Her job is to keep the nursery steady, model good manners, and help our pups build confidence before they ever meet their new families. Shuggie, our very first female and now a happily spayed “Puppy Nanny.” She doesn’t have litters—she supports them.

Shuggie’s steady, motherly temperament helps new moms relax, keep routines, and take breaks without stress. With puppies, she’s the calm teacher every nursery needs: modeling gentle play, soft mouths, and “that’s enough” cues; showing how to settle between bursts of energy; and making everyday life (door knocks, vacuum, TV, car rides) feel no-big-deal.

All interactions are supervised and timed to the dam’s comfort and the litter’s stage, with our standard health protocols (vaccinated, parasite-free, sanitized surfaces). The result: confident, well-mannered pups who transition more smoothly into their new homes—and calmer, happier moms along the way. Shuggie keeps the den peaceful, the lessons consistent, and the puppies’ first social skills rock-solid.
