Our prices vary depending on registration (AKC or CKC), color, coat type, and breeding rights. Every puppy leaves our home vet-checked, up-to-date on shots, dewormed, microchipped, and well-socialized. A non-refundable deposit secures your puppy or waitlist spot. We don’t cut corners — because quality takes time, and healthy dogs are worth the wait.

Our pricing reflects the time, care, quality, and love that goes into every Oconee River Dachshund puppy. Each litter is planned with intention, backed by health testing, veterinary care, and proper socialization.

We clearly outline our prices, what’s included, and what each puppy comes with—so you know exactly what you’re paying for. No surprise fees, no fine print. Just ethical breeding, honest communication, and healthy, well-loved dogs.

Puppy Prices

We offer premium-quality AKC Miniature Dachshunds with a wide range of colors, coats, and patterns. Pricing varies based on several factors, including:

Color & Pattern (e.g., dapple, cream, piebald, dilute colors like blue or isabella)

Coat Type (longhair vs. shorthair)

Pet vs. Full AKC Registration

Lineage & Conformation

Unique Markings or Rare Combinations

Once you're approved, a non-refundable deposit of $250 is required to hold a puppy. This deposit will go toward your total purchase price.

No deposit is required to join the general waitlist, but paid deposits are mandatory to hold puppy once chosen.

Pet Only (AKC-Limited Registration)

$1,000-$2,000

What’s Included:

  • AKC Limited Registration (puppy cannot be bred or shown in conformation)

  • Vet check + health records

  • Up-to-date vaccinations & deworming

  • Starter bag with food, blanket, toy

  • Lifetime breeder support

 

Who it’s for:
Families who want a loving companion but have no interest in breeding or showing. These pups are perfect pets with excellent temperaments, just not intended for breeding programs.

Full AKC Rights (Breeding & Showing)

Starting at

$2,000-$2,500

What’s Included:

  • AKC Full Registration

  • Breeding rights granted

  • Vet check + health records

  • Up-to-date vaccinations & deworming

  • Puppy starter pack

  • Ongoing breeder mentorship for first-time breeders (if requested)

Who it’s for:
Responsible breeders or show homes committed to preserving the Dachshund breed standard. Buyer approval required.

Full AKC Rights

(Rare Colors/Patterns or Exceptional Lineage)

Starting at

$2,500+ (case by case basis)

What’s Included:

  • AKC Full Registration

  • Breeding rights granted

  • Vet check + health records
  • Up-to-date vaccinations & deworming
  • Enhanced puppy pack (collar, training materials, extras)

  • Continued breeder partnership available

  • Premium bloodlines or rare color/pattern (e.g., English Cream, Blue, Dapple, Piebald, Chocolate-based, etc.)

Who it’s for:
Experienced breeders seeking rare or high-demand traits to elevate their program. Pricing varies based on genetic rarity, structure, and lineage.

 

📜 May require proof of breeding program and history.
